Starting today I am going to write openly about my work as a developer and the things I learn along the way. This site is where that record lives.

I am laying out a serious roadmap for myself. It builds on a couple years of working with my own private systems. I also have personal operating systems that run my projects and infrastructure, and machine learning systems I use and direct every day. The furthest along is Atlas, an autonomous financial research system I have been building. It does its own research, commits to predictions with dates and confidence attached, and measures itself against what actually happens, so it gets sharper the longer it runs.

The road ahead is as follows: mathematics rebuilt from the ground up. Machine learning implemented by hand before any library does it for me. Then outward into simulation, reinforcement learning, and the systems side of the field. Each stage has to produce something you can see: code, results, and honest write-ups of what worked and what did not.

About the writing itself, I am not a polished writer and I know I am not great at articulating myself. I would rather publish an honest account than a well-dressed one. Expect progress notes, and when the occasion calls for it, you will see an excellently thought out, in-depth entry that will be worth your time.

I make no promises about consistency. Most days will be quiet. But when I make progress, it will appear here first.
